Account Manager, E-Commerce Amazon
Summary of Position:
Vornado is looking for a motivated E-Commerce Account Manager - Amazon to support our growing business by expanding relationships with important e-commerce customers. You'll grow the business and expand Vornado's online presence and market share on Amazon and other e-commerce retailers. This includes exploring new ways to promote traffic through optimizing content strategy and aligning advertising efforts to ensure success. You will report to the Director of E-Commerce.
You Will:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of product performance, features, and specifications.
  • Oversee daily online sales management for Amazon and other e-commerce accounts.
  • Manage e-commerce activities, including inventory management, pricing, promotions, and advertising.
  • Lead efforts to increase advertising and marketing campaigns and introduce new programs.
  • Use data analysis from advertising results to brainstorm digital marketing strategies.
  • Create applicable strategies to enhance the organic ranking of our products which involves conducting ongoing keyword research, implementing search engine optimization techniques, and identifying untapped opportunities to accelerate the growth of our existing product portfolio.
  • Improve existing online strategies and marketing programs for e-commerce accounts.
  • Create and measure promotional activities calendars for e-commerce accounts.
  • Forecast sales projections to support planned sales and promotions.
  • Guide best selling ranking to gain market share.
  • Identify new opportunities, insights, and potential threats.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide comprehensive feedback and insights to improve Amazon's and other e-commerce account offerings and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Develop strategic plans to exceed sales targets and gain market share.
  • Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract agreements with customers, ensuring accurate completion of all documentation.
  • Foster relationships with existing accounts, understanding their goals, and needs, and proposing solutions to achieve success.
  • Identify business opportunities and markets for growth with existing accounts while prospecting new customers.
  • Prepare pricing proposals and create sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Handle budget management, assortment growth, and strategy development.
  • Maintain customer pricing and communicate updates to sales operations.
  • Address and resolve customer requests, complaints, and issues.
  • Set sales goals and tracks progress toward those goals.
  • Assist others while keeping management informed of activities..
  • Complete required reports, maintain records, attend meetings and complete special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain working relationships with team members and management.
You Have:
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis required; employer sponsorship for employment-based visa status is not available for this position.
  • This is not a remote position.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of proven experience managing Amazon seller and vendor accounts with experience increasing sales growth and achieving targets. Experience with Walmart Marketplace.
  • Experience with Amazon's platform, policies, and best practices for successful selling.
  • Experience and track record with Amazon Advertising and campaign management.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and other online marketplaces.
  • Analyze data, interpret it, and provide relevant insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and with stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities and solve problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions).
  • Capability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Proficiency in planning and preparing correspondence, proposals, contracts, and price quotes is necessary .
Physical Requirements (with or without accommodations)
Sedentary work; sit most of the time.
Exert up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
